The Obama Administration continually urges Americans to “move along,” and claims that these scandals that plague this administration are “phony scandals.” In fact, in February, President Obama told the nation that there was not even a “smidgen of corruption” to be found in the IRS scandal. We are told that this is a witch-hunt conducted by Republicans.Then why is it that each and every time Republicans push for information on this scandal, the truth is someone elusive? On Friday afternoon, the day this administration uses to release information that they hope the nation will forget by Monday, announced that the IRS had “lost” two years of emails to and from disgraced former IRS chief Lois Lerner.
Yes- you read that right; the IRS, the government agency whose existence rests on the nature of fastidious record-keeping, has “lost” two years of emails. Whoopsie!
