Transcript: In the wake of the Lafayette, Louisiana Grand Theater movie theater shooting, the media has made much ado about the President’s “prediction” that law gun control laws would lead to more shootings.
But in reality it was the strict gun control laws that made the Louisiana shooting possible, according to Erich Pratt of Gun Owners of America, who gives these three reasons:
Number one: The perpetrator chose to commit his crime in a gun free zone. The Grand Theater chain does NOT allow concealed firearms on its premises -- even by lawfully permitted concealed carry holders, hindering law-abiding citizens from being able to defend themselves and others.
Number two: The shooter was already a prohibited purchaser because of mental health issues, yet that did not physically prevent him from acquiring firearms.
Number three: The gunman had been denied a concealed carry permit years ago, yet he still managed to illegally carry a gun.
Bottom line: Gun control failed to protect honest civilians in Lafayette, Louisiana.

On July 24, 2014, a nutcase walked into a Darby, Pennsylvania hospital, intent on killing as many people as possible.
But the gunman hadn’t counted on the fact that his #1 intended target -- his doctor -- had defied the hospital’s “no guns allowed” policy and was carrying a gun of his own.
Dr. Lee Silverman is a lawful permit holder who regularly carries a handgun. Having come under fire, he crouched behind a desk and shot back, hitting the perpetrator three times in the mid-section.
Even though the bad guy was able to murder one person, authorities have credited Dr. Silverman with halting a mass shooting in progress.
Guns in good people’s hands are saving lives. But the President’s approach -- which denies guns to law-abiding citizens -- prevents potential victims from bringing mass shootings to an abrupt end by gun carrying heroes like Dr. Lee Silverman.

ANTI-CHRISTIAN HATRED SWEEPS ENTIRE WORLD

A passionate hatred of Christianity is sweeping across the planet, and very few global leaders have been willing to step forward and speak out against this rising persecution of Christians. In many parts of the Middle East, Africa and Asia, believers are being relentlessly attacked by extremists, churches are being destroyed, and laws are being passed to try to prevent the spread of the Christian faith. In some areas, the violence has become so extreme that Christians knowingly risk their own lives just to go to church services each week. Would you risk your life to go to church? In North America and Europe, the persecution is often more subtle. Even though violent attacks are still fairly rare, Christian beliefs are being undermined by new laws, comedians and television shows regularly mock the Christian faith, and many employers will immediately mentally disqualify a potential candidate for a job if they discover that an individual is a Bible-believing Christian. Sadly, this is just the beginning. In the years ahead, those that choose to be followers of Jesus Christ will face even greater persecution than we have seen already.

By Heather Clark, Christian News Network — (DETROIT) At least 100 people attended the unveiling of a Satanic statue depicting Baphomet being flanked by children on Saturday—a statue that was originally intended to be placed at the Oklahoma state capitol and now may be the subject of an effort to erect it next to a Ten Commandments monument in Arkansas.
As previously reported, the New York-based Satanic Temple had scheduled the unveiling for July 25th in Detroit, Michigan. The group says that it chose Detroit because it has a “good community” of followers, with over 200 members, billing the event as “a night of chaos, noise, and debauchery.”

In the only research ever conducted on the safety of GMO’s, rats were fed nothing but GMO’s for their entire life. This study was known as the Seralini Study and it was conducted by Monsanto. Yet, Monsanto lied about the results. Séralini’s team obtained Monsanto’s raw data and re-analyzed it. They found signs of liver and kidney toxicity in the GM-fed rats, publishing their findings in a peer-reviewed journal in 2009 (de Vendomois JS, Roullier F, Cellier D, Séralini GE. A comparison of the effects of three GM corn varieties on mammalian health. International Journal of Biological Science. 2009; 5(7): 706–726)....
