Pastor Andrew Russell preaches on Colossians Colossians 2:8-10 and explains what the Apostle Paul is telling the Colossian Church. According to Paul, certain Christian teachers at Colosse promote a philosophy of religion that consists of human traditions and centres on the basic principles of this world. Paul responds to this theological error by restating two central claims about Christ on which this congregation's faith has been properly constructed: (1) Christ is the fullness of the Deity . . . in bodily form, and (2) he is the head over every power and authority. Therefore if Christ lives in us then we have everything we need - we are complete in Christ, Jesus.
