Throughout his campaign, Trump was figuratively tarred and feathered by the press at every turn. Because he said some Mexican illegal immigrants were killing and raping Americans, he was labeled a racist; because he pledged to enforce immigration law, as all presidents are supposed to do, he was labeled a bigot; because he made some crude remarks about women, he was labeled a misogynist. He was also characterized as being against the LGBT community … for some reason.
None of these charges are true, mind you. But that didn’t stop the media from repeating them over and over again, like the journo-terrorists they are...
