Pastor Andrew Russell preaches on Colossians 4:2-6 and the theme is Persistence in Prayer and Wisdom in Witnessing. Thanksgiving must have a part in every prayer. The people must pray particularly for their pastors and elders, and bear them upon their hearts at all times at the throne of grace. That God would open to them a door of utterance, that is, either afford opportunity to preach the gospel or else give them ability and courage, and enable them with freedom and faithfulness. Walk circumspectly, redeeming the time, because the days are evil, that is, dangerous, or times of trouble and suffering. Be ready always to give an answer to every man who ask you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.
