Welcome to this edition of The Hal Lindsey Report.There was relatively little interest in Bible prophecy in 1969. There were a few good books on the subject but they were written by scholars for seminary students. Most ordinary folks couldn’t understand them. No one even considered the idea of writing a book on prophecy that the man on the street can understand and take interest in. Outside of seminary bookstore even Christians were unlikely to stumble across the works of such prophecy scholars as Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dr. Dwight Pentecost, Dr. John Walvoord, and Sir Robert Anderson to name a few.
