Vox dubbed Karem “heroic” for defending “CNN’s honor.” The media’s “honor” has fallen so low that it needs defending by the red light district. If the media’s honor gets any lower, its honor will need an assist from the Mafia, Mexican drug cartels, NAMBLA and the Toxic Waste Association of America.

Stephen Hawking fears Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate change agreement could be the “tipping point” which wipes out humanity and turns our planet into a living hell.

EDITOR’S NOTE: So let’s see if I have this right. Stephen Hawking, the “world’s smartest man”, is now saying that because of President Trump pulling out of the bogus Paris Climate Accords, the Earth will “become like Venus”, and “rain down sulfuric acid at 250 degrees”. So tell me again why “climate deniers” are “not scientific”, because making claims like that is not scientific at all. If that’s the best “science” that “geniuses” like Stephen Hawking can come up with, I will happily stay with the climate deniers.

If a pesky western corn rootworm comes munching, the plant’s self-made DvSnf7 dsRNA disrupts a critical rootworm gene and kills the pest. This last step is called RNA interference, or RNAi, and the Environmental Protection Agency last week approved the first insecticide relying on it. Just a few years ago, RNAi was the hot, new biotechnology generating both hype and controversy. But its first approval as an insecticide has been surprisingly low-key. The EPA’s decision attracted little attention from the press or even from environmental groups that reliably come out against new genetically modified crops.
