When Government Becomes God

Teaching Scriptures
They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. ~ Matthew 22:21

About Liberty Fellowship and Dr. Chuck Baldwin
Founded in January, 2011 LIBERTY FELLOWSHIP, is an unorganized, unincorporated, nondenominational fellowship.

As such Liberty Fellowship is a free agent of God, and works tirelessly instructing the body of Christian believers in the Principles of Liberty and freedom as laid out and expressed in the life of Jesus Christ. Our sole mission is to be a light to all people, guiding them back to the foundational, fundamental natural law truths that begat our great nation.

Charles Obadiah "Chuck" Baldwin is an American politician and founder-pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. He was the presidential nominee of the Constitution Party for the 2008 U.S. presidential election and had previously been its nominee for U.S. vice president in 2004. In October 2010, Dr. Baldwin and his entire family and extended family moved to the Flathead Valley of Montana. In January, 2011, the family started a new church, which is named LIBERTY FELLOWSHIP. This is an unoragnized, unincorporated, nondenominational church fellowship located in the city of Kalispell. The current meeting place is the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Conference Center, located on Highway 93 South. The service begins each Sunday afternoon at 2pm Mountain Time. The service is also livestreamed over the Internet and is faithfully viewed by people across the country. Immediately after its conception, LIBERTY FELLOWSHIP began averaging between 150-200 freedom-minded Montanans in each service, some who drive over 100 miles one way to attend. Romans 13:1-7: The True Meaning Of Submission
Co-Authored By Pastor Chuck Baldwin

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. ~ Romans 13:1-7

Whom Will You Obey, God Or Man?

Read Carefully...
We in the United States of America do not live under a monarchy. We have no king. There is no single governing official in the country. America's supreme law does not rest with any man or any group of men. America's supreme law does not rest with the president, the congress, or the supreme court. In America the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land. So therefore, under our laws, every governing official publicly promises to submit to the Constitution of the United States with his, or her, hand on the Bible. Do leaders understand the significance of this distinquision? I surely hope so. This means that in America, the higher powers are not the men who occupy the elected office, they are the tenets and the principles set forth in the United States Constitution, under our laws and form of government. It is the duty of every citizen, including our elected officials, to obey the United States Constitution...
Therefore, this is how Romans Chapter 13 reads to Americans:

“Let every soul be subject unto the [U.S. Constitution.] For there is no [Constitution] but of God: the [Constitution] that be [is] ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the [Constitution], resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For [the Constitution is] not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the [Constitution]? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For [the Constitution] is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for [the Constitution] beareth not the sword in vain: for [the Constitution] is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for [the Constitution is] God’s minister, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.”
